Still no street lighting in Radyr Court Road

Councillor John Sheppard wrote to the Chief Highways and Waste Management Officer at Cardiff County Council in December regarding the lack of street lighting in Radyr Court Road between Woolmer Close and the shops.

The council have acknowledged that the case for street lighting has been well presented and that implementing a lighting scheme would be an improvement.  However, installing lighting here would be expensive as there are no underground servcie cables in the area and the council's Capital Programme for 2007/2008 is committed to schemes to replace existing lighting that is becoming dangerous through old age.

Therefore it is impossible to predict when we might get street lights in Radyr Court Road
